To ensure the safety of persons and property, Ritz Paris Le Comptoir (located at 3 rue La Boétie, 75008 Paris), acting as the data controller, operates a video surveillance system within the Ritz Paris – Le Comptoir boutiques located at:
- 38 rue Cambon, 75001 Paris, and
- 45 rue de Sèvres, 75006 Paris.
This system includes cameras positioned in both public-access areas and certain staff-only areas, in compliance with the principle of proportionality.
Captured footage is recorded temporarily and may be viewed only in the event of an incident by personnel expressly authorized to do so.
The processing is based on the data controller’s legitimate interest in ensuring the safety of persons and property (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Data is retained for a maximum period of 30 days, except where required due to a security incident; in such cases, the data may be extracted and retained for the duration strictly necessary for the relevant procedure.

Where this purpose is strictly limited to what is necessary for the management of the mailing list, your prior consent is not required.
